Snowshoe by Moonlight - South Fork to Packard Canyon, Provo Cyn 2/24/24

Sample Itinerary:

Snowshoe - 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Directions: top of South Fk Rd (right before Camp Trefoil gate), Provo Cyn

Activity: Snowshoe - South Fk Rd to Packard Cyn trail. Out and back. 4,000 ft uphill to Packard Cyn Trail and then as far as you want to go on the 3 mile one way trail. Monitor Avalanche Conditions. Trail Forks Trip Report.

Gear: Microspikes or snowshoes/poles (weather dependent), dress warm and in layers: thermal top and bottom, wool socks (or just not cotton socks), snow pants, long sleeve fleece, waterproof jacket, warm gloves, beanie, backpack (with space to shove clothes in if you get too warm), water/warm beverage, snack, WATERPROOF boots, or non-waterproof boots with overshoes, headlamp/flashlight
