E-Biking - Millcreek Cyn 11/1/24

Sample Itinerary:

9 am - carpooling on own

10 am - Meet up and check bikes

10:30-12:00 pm - Ride up the paved canyon and back

Directions: Olympus Cove Park and Ride, Millcreek

Cost: Bikes are free, just need to stop at the kiosk on the way out of the canyon

Activity: 

E Biking Millcreek Canyon - ride up the paved canyon road 20 miles round trip. Past the gate (the last 4 miles), the road isn't plowed. Ride on powder going downhill to slow momentum & avoid ice slippage.  Beautiful day contrasting fall & winter.

Gear: e-bike of any kind, helmet is required (ski helmet is good and warm), goggles, sturdy shoes, 2L water in backpack (most bikes don't have bottle holders), bike repair kit (patches, 3 bike levers, spare tube, pump - if you have them or rental company gives you one), several small snacks, sunglasses for eye protection, warm gloves or leather climbing gloves - full finger, jacket for the AM, padded bike shorts are a definite plus
