
Itinerary:
Trailhead - 4:30 pm
Snowshoe - 4:30-5:30 pm (got dark around 5:30 - recommend starting earlier if able)
Drive: Upper parkinglot, Big Springs Park, Provo Cyn
Activities: Hike/Snowshoe Big Spring Hollow trails - 0.5-1 mile loop. This trail crosses 5 bridges and wanders past a "fairy tunnel" on the left about 10 min in and then to a large meadow. We take the road back. You can bring sleds for after activity or just slide down the small hill west of the parking lot - we were playing her for like 30 min after. All Trails Trip Report

Gear: Snowshoes/poles (weather dependent), gaiters (optional - can rent), (NO COTTON) thermal top and bottom, wool socks or just not cotton socks, snow pants, long sleeve fleece, light waterproof jacket, gloves, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, camelback or regular back pack (with space remaining to shove clothes in when you get too warm for adults to carry), 1-2 Liters water, snacks, WATERPROOF boots or non-waterproof boots/shoes and also rent "overshoes", sled (optional)
