Writer's picture: Emily HackenEmily Hacken

Burraston Ponds is perfect for beginners in most water activities. It’s shallow in many areas with some deep spots for those who want to get in the water. It’s a very popular fishing spot as well.

Sample Itinerary -

Reservoir and instruction - 10:30 am

Float - 10:45-1:30 pm

Directions - Burraston Ponds, Nephi

Activity -

Paddleboard Burraston Ponds - reservoir. Nice little pond but not too large. No motorized boats allowed so great for beginners. Best part about it is it’s free. Also there’s a rope swing but be careful cause it’s only 6-8 feet deep. There are many easy spots to set up and put in for paddleboarding all around the ponds. Our preferred put in. (Paddling.com)
