First every Adventure Race with Mt Mamas! Organized to be a woman's first adventure race, competing solo in 5 categories for fastest time (Mt Biking, Trail Running, Rappelling, Rock Climbing and Kayaking)

Drive: Race begins at Summit Trailhead (top of the Alpine Loop), American Fk Cyn; Race ends at Tibble Fk Reservoir
Cost: Day use fee $6 or National Parks Pass
Activities:
-Trail Running - 2.4 mile loop starting at summit trailhead (going counter clockwise) Horse Flat, Horse Spring and Lame Horse Trail Loop on AllTrails. All Trails Trip Report
-Mt Biking - 2.1 mile one way from summit trailhead with mostly downhill ride with short appeal at the beginning and end (horse flat, snow gauge, salamander flat trail to salamander flats)
-Rappelling - 65 ft rappel at Echo Picnic Area
-Rock Climbing - 5.8 climb at Tank Canyon
-Kayaking - 1/4 mile paddle across Tibble Fk Reservoir and back
Participants:
- Participate individually
- Will be notified of the courses for each event the week of the race and be able to download directions onto the Gaia app (free).
- Responsible for bringing own gear, food and water (gear must be approved previous to race by Race Director)
- Sit on top kayaks will be provided
- Rock climbing and rappelling ropes and routes will be set up previously.
- Each location will have a Time Recorder, Medical assistant, and Safety Instructor (volunteers)
- Carpool with 4-5 other race participants between events
- Mt Bikes and Kayaks will be trailered and kept at Tibble Fk Reservoir until end of race (bring a bike lock for bikes)
- Fastest time wins
Families are able to wait for participant at Tibble Fk Reservoir
Gear:
Trail Running - Trail running shoes, t shirt, shorts, light long sleeve shirt, water bottle, sunscreen, hat (optional), sunglasses
Mt Biking - Mt Bike with Front Suspension (hard tail) (can rent), helmet, thin T-shirt, thin long-sleeve shirt, shorts or yoga pants, running shoes, elbow and knee pads (optional but encouraged), bike repair kit and hand pump (optional but encouraged), 1-2 L water or 2 water bottles, 3-4 snacks, small backpack, sunscreen, sunglasses, biking gloves
Rappelling - Harness (can rent), helmet (can rent), rappell device, locking carabiner, leather gloves, running shoes/boots
Rock Climbing - Harness (can rent), helmet (can rent), exercise clothing, climbing shoes (can rent), 1-2 L water, daypack, 2-4 snacks, sunscreen, sunglasses
Kayaking - Sit on top kayak/paddle/life jacket (provided), Thin T-shirts, thin long-sleeve shirts, fleece, rain jacket, shorts or hiking pants, swimming suit, water shoes, running shoes or sandals, 2 L water bottles, snacks, small backpack/drybag, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat
